Mentorpreneurship is learning to build a business with a mentor while you are actually building it. The Mentorpreneurship Cohort from NEXT STEP by MAP is a three-month, execution-first programme for founders, creators and operators in Ghana. It combines mentorship, practical tools and live projects instead of lectures alone.
Who is the cohort for?
Founders with an idea they have not launched, operators who want better systems, and creators who want to turn an audience into a business.
What happens in the three months?
- Month 1: Foundations and mindset. Operator mindset, business design, AI tools and personal systems.
- Month 2: Build and simulate. A live business simulation, project management, communication and leadership.
- Month 3: Launch and fund. Pitch lab, partnerships, funding strategy and execution scorecards.
What are the editions?
- Go, GHS 1,000: cohort access, group sessions, AI toolkit and community.
- Plus, GHS 2,000: everything in Go, plus project simulation, a 1:1 mentor and a templates pack.
- Pro, GHS 3,200: everything in Plus, plus the pitch and funding lab, lifetime alumni access and investor introductions.

Frequently asked questions
How long is the programme? Three months.
Is it online? See the programme page for the current format and dates.
What is the difference between a mentor and a coach? A mentor draws on their own experience of building and guides your decisions over time. Our cohort adds structure, projects and a peer group on top of that.
