Choose .com if you want the most familiar, easiest-to-remember address, especially if you may serve customers outside Ghana. Choose .com.gh if you want an address that clearly says your business is in Ghana. Both work, and many businesses register both. What matters most is that the domain is registered in your name.
What is a .com.gh domain?
.com.gh is Ghana's country-level domain for commercial businesses. It is managed by the Ghana Network Information Centre (GHNIC) under NITA. Registration generally asks for business registration papers for a company, or an ID for an individual, so it can take longer than a .com.

Which should you choose?
- Mostly local customers, and you want to show you are Ghanaian: .com.gh is a good fit.
- You may sell outside Ghana, or you want the simplest address: .com.
- You want to protect your name: register both.

- Make sure the domain is registered in your name, not the builder's.
- Ask what the yearly renewal costs.
