Buying cement in bulk in Ghana means ordering by the truckload instead of by the bag. With CIMAF cement from NEXT STEP by MAP, one truckload is 1,000 bags of 50 kg, which is 50 tonnes. It is the standard way hardware shops, building materials retailers and contractors keep stock without running out mid-month.
What is a truckload of cement?
A truckload of CIMAF cement is 1,000 bags of 50 kg. Our minimum order is one truckload. We supply by the truckload only, and we confirm the grade, quantity and availability before anything is agreed. Kantinka Hemaa is the one product that comes in a 25 kg bag, so the number of bags per truckload is different for it. Ask our sales team for the quantity.
Who should buy cement by the truckload?
- Building materials shop owners who want a steady supply line
- Hardware store owners who sell cement every week
- Wholesalers and retailers growing their cement volumes
- Contractors and developers who use cement in volume
- Traders with enough storage space and capital to hold a full truckload
If you sell a few bags a week, a full truckload may be too much for now. If cement is one of your main products, ordering by the truckload keeps you from running short when builders arrive.
What should you check before you order?
- The grade. Different cement suits different work. A shop that serves block makers needs different stock from one that serves people building a high-rise. Read our guide to cement grades.
- Storage. Cement must stay dry and off the floor. A truckload is 50 tonnes, so plan your space and your stacking before the truck arrives.
- Delivery location. We deliver to more than 70 locations across Ghana, including Tema, Kasoa, Kumasi, Ho, Sunyani, Tamale and Wa. Tell us your location and we confirm delivery.
- Availability. Not every product is available every week. We confirm availability with your quote.
- Payment and quote. Prices depend on the grade, your location and the quantity, so we quote each order. We reply within 24 hours.
